Who it’s for: If you’re curious about acting and prefer a virtual learning environment, Acting Basics will walk you step by step through the whole process. Absolute beginners are welcome!
What it’s about: You’ll learn about the tools and techniques professional actors use while working with a script. Our wonderful instructor Emilio Rodriguez will guide you through the process one step at a time in a fun, non-judgmental environment.
Topics Include:
- What is a monologue
- How to create a character
- What it means to "commit"
- And lots more!
You’ll walk away with: You will have an opportunity to experience what an actor goes through, from getting a script, to rehearsing, to performing and the confidence that comes with that. The skills you learn provide a great foundation should you decide you’d like to continue your acting studies.
